Magnificent and extremely rare stew spoon, "au filet" model, with the hallmarks of the city of Rochefort (generality of La Rochelle) and the master goldsmith Jacques Girard. It dates from the middle of the eighteenth century. It measures 29 cm and is engraved with a magnificent coat of arms held by two greyhounds and topped with a marquis' crown.
