A traveling painter, François Geo traveled the West Indies, Cuba, North Africa, the Congo... He represents here the famous Lapin Agile, cabaret and essential place of bohemian life in Montmartre. On the reverse is a cartouche bearing the address of his workshop in the 17th arrondissement, where he died in 1968.
