"Chanel Haute Couture Skirt Suit In Bouclé Wool And Gold Lamé Named Hortensia Circa 1968-1971"
Circa 1968-1971 France Beautiful skirt and blouse suit in wool and pink and gold lamé attributed to Gabrielle Chanel Haute Couture Circa 1960/1970. Model named Hydrangea in silk and Lurex by Bucol (see archive photo). Jacket and skirt in mohair wool with black bouclé, complete with brass buttons engraved with a lion's head. Straight skirt with double zippers in the back. Lining in black silk pongee and applied brass chain to seal the jacket. Sleeveless crew-neck blouse with eight covered buttons in a superb gold lamé pattern in pale pink and pink striped and mottled silk (missing a button at the waist). Reminder of the lamé on the collar of the jacket and on the facing of the four pockets and the cuffs. Without claw (as is often the case) but obvious sewing finish allowing the attribution to the House of Chanel. To report a small hitch to a sleeve of the jacket on 0.5 cm not very visible, otherwise good structural condition of the whole which does not include other defects.
