Krieger- Louis XVI Style Mahogany Bookcase
KRIEGER Beautiful bookcase in solid and flamed mahogany. It opens with two glazed and paneled doors, finely molded frames and spandrel finials. Molded pediment with ogee, cornice with crown and laurel branches, leafy posts and finials. Amounts with fluted and twisted columns, laurel rings and acanthus falls. Low crosspiece with laurel wreaths and tied ribbons, spindle legs. Funds and shelves in oak, rack lock. Stamp signature: KRIEGER, PARIS. Around 1880. Height 236 cm, width 123 cm (+2x6 cm cornice), depth 45 cm (+8 cm cornice). Possible delivery.
