"Flat Tin Flag Holder Ernest Burkhalter"
FLAT PEWTER FLAG STAND Ernest BURKHALTER 59 flag stands in flat pewter and fine paint. 72 mm in height to the top of the shaft...... Perfect original condition, just 2 ends of the shaft are missing. The realization is exceptional, I have not determined with certainty the figurine maker behind these remarkable pieces but it may be Ernest BURKHALTER known for his series of flags of the Parisian national guard during the revolution. In any case, the painting is worthy of the greatest miniatures like: DOUCHKINE - ALEXANDRE - O'CALLAGHAN - LELIEPVRE - TERANA
