Julien Gracq, whose real name is Louis Poirier, born in 1910, in Saint-Florent-le-Vieil (Maine-et-Loire) and died in 2007, in Angers, is a French writer. Julien Gracq is famous thanks to the Prix Goncourt for "le Rivage des Syrtes", as well as for his loyalty to his publisher José Corti. You should not summarize the work of Julien Gracq at his Prix Goncourt and read it. Nominative copy numbered in Roman numerals, on pure Lana vellum (print run of 497 copies in total). Typography by Robert Blanchet. The lithographs by Gustave Singier (including one on the cover and 21 full-page), and 40 vignettes and decorated letters in color engraved on wood are printed at Mourlot by André Bresson.
