Louis XV Commode In Violet Wood Marquetry

Beautiful chest of drawers in marquetry of violet wood veneered with diamond points, in satin veneered frames in braces. The facade is decorated with a polylobed cartouche. With a strongly curved shape on all 3 sides, our chest of drawers opens with 2 bottom drawers with a large apron. Rich trim of chiseled and gilded bronzes, the dresser is topped with a royal red marble molded in beak of corbin. Partly from the 18th century, our chest of drawers is an old work in the Louis XV style. The proportions are elegant, the marquetry in the style of Migeon and the 18th century marble are very neat, it is a beautiful model.
