 The Dufaux family is a part of the artistic world, because it comes from the industrial world. It is mainly thanks to Armand (1883-1941), a brilliant and visionary industrialist, who took part in the development of motor mechanics. 
With his brother Henri, he created an engine to be fixed on a bicycle before becoming a vehicle. 

Henri Dufaux painted like his father before him. He is a great traveler from the Maghreb to Black Africa and his works represent the daily life of the inhabitants of the countries he visits.
