Eugène Sue was a socialist author, born in 1804 and died in 1857. Author of the Mysteries of Paris and the Wandering Jew. He died in exile in Annecy, following the coup d'etat of Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte. Good condition, 8 volumes bound in four in an elegant contemporary binding.
