Large hunting dagger, 18th century. Flat blade with flat back with 1 edge and counter edge in point of 12 cm. Blade with central groove bearing engravings in the 1st third on both sides. Striated ebony spindle with watermark and red copper ribbon, see photo details. Pommel with lion's head and rays figuring the mane. Quillon in "S" ending in a conical point and striated escutcheon. Leather scabbard with 2 brass fittings, clevis with hanger button in the shape of an escutcheon with floral decoration and stud ending in a ball.
