Rare Tehran Carpet Made In Silk, Iran, dated 1892. Very important and rare Tehran carpet, Dated 1892, which corresponds to the date 1271 Date of Egire. It is characterized by 10% kork wool velvet and 90% silk on silk foundations, namely the warps, weft and fringes. Unique piece with exceptional decor reminiscent of Heriz and Bidjar rugs from the 19th century. From an ivory-colored field with very original grid patterns, fine stems and fine crenellated branches in stained glass in the form of crab claws, which are adorned with spearheads and flower buds of lilac and pink with terminations old gold and sky blue palm leaves.
