Roger Marcel LIMOUSE (1894-1989) Born in Collo in Algeria on October 19, 1894, Roger Marcel Limouse is a French painter attached to the Fauves. His figurative work, very colorful, with stripped forms makes him one of the last representatives of this current. In 1933, he won the Vikings prize with "Les crustacés". Professor of drawing for the City of Paris, he exhibited at the Salons of French Artists, Independents, Autumn and Tuileries. The Museum of Modern Art in Paris has several of the artist's paintings in its collections: “Le dolman de hussard”, “Le settee jaune” and “Le toréador”.
