Flintlock pistol in vermeil, called KUBUR, Ottoman Art
Balkan, circa 1830
Steel, vermeil
Total length : 53 - Barrel length : 32,2cm - Cal : 15mm

Barrel with sides then round, maintained with the mounting by a richly decorated vermeil capucine.
Quality European lock, finely engraved with interlacing and foliage; swan neck hammer and basin cover decorated in suite.
Engraved vermeil mounting, nielloed and enhanced with a half-round hump decoration. Counterplate applied, entirely chased with high reliefs.
The vermeil trigger guard is decorated in suite.
The godronnée cap, is underlined of a filigree. Button of cap in flower.
Rod in vermeil.
