"Empire Style Candle Chandelier In Gilt Bronze, XIXth Time"
Empire style chandelier in richly crafted and chiseled gilt bronze. It illuminates with 6 candle sconces. The barrel is guilloché and with cut sides, it is attached to a central body with eagles with pompoms and a chain of brass beads. Beautiful original gilding with some stains and verdigris in the background of the carvings. A fixing screw for a non-original light arm (see photo) We decided to leave it to the candle but electrification is possible because the branches are hollow (the holes for passing an electric cable are very narrow). Very decorative chandelier out of the ordinary. Period late 19th century around 1880. Delivery in wooden box by carrier, 80 euros in France, 150 euros in the EU and 500 euros rest of the world.
