Isaphan carpet made of silky lambswool on silk foundations, such as the warps, weft and fringe. Signed in double cartouches with the Iranian flag: Kankhah in the great tradition of Master weaver Serafian. Dating from the time of the Shah, i.e. the 20th century. Carpet in the shape of a prayer, with Mirhab laces on a ruby-colored field. Characterized by a decor of earthly paradise, large suspended oil lamp in sky blue color surrounded by trees of life with palmettes of old gold and ivory flowers. Accompanied by other animal motifs. Double beige spandrels with flower crowns. Three borders, the main one in midnight blue with flower bulbs and flower buds. Density: between 11,000 to 12,000 knots per dm2.
