Biography: Francis Verlinden is a Belgian painter illustrator and draftsman, he was born in Ixelles (Brussels) in 1935, graduated from Decorative Arts at Saint-Luc in Brussels. Trained for 5 years with the painter Paul G. Klein in Damme, which probably gave him this intuition and power of line, a "brush stroke" that many envy him, the artist paints with extreme speed and a fair line. Predilection for the figures of young women and indoor nudes, he painted erotic scenes probably taken in cabarets. He moved to Knokke-Heist in 1964.
