Paintings, oils on panels signed Maurice Lévis 1860-1940. Born in Paris in 1860, landscape painter and watercolourist, Maurice Lévis received his artistic training from H.Joseph Harpignies, Jules Lefebvre and Pierre Billet. He exhibited regularly at the Society of French Artists from 1886 to 1939 and became an associate member in 1888. He received numerous Academy awards including a gold medal in 1927. Framed paintings.
