"Bronze Sculpture Signed Irénée Rochard Circa 1930"
Patinated bronze sculpture from the Art Deco period circa 1930 signed Irénée rochard* also bearing a “Bronze” stamp, representing a bird perched on a branch pecking cherries resting on a black Belgian marble. Very nice execution. In very good shape. *Irénée Félix René Rochard, born January 16, 1906 in Villefranche-sur-Saône and died March 29, 1984 in Paris, in the 15th arrondissement, is a French animal sculptor particularly influenced by famous sculptors such as François Pompom and Édouard Marcel Sandoz.
