Kneeling dancer , porcelain figurine Sybille Spallinger. Rosenthal Art Department, Selb Kunstabteilung factory. 
The sculpture represents a famous german Ballet dancer Lisa Spalinger, in a role of Sybille in a ballet Raymonda, created by choreographer Maurice Petipa and russian composer Ilya Glazunov.  The dancer was born in Berlin. Her mother was German and her father was Swiss. 
After dancing in operettas in Hamburg, she joined what is now Deutsche Oper Berlin when she was 18 and became the prima ballerina.

The Nazis did not allow artists to leave Germany, but Mrs. Spalinger Boehm eventually used her Swiss citizenship to flee the country by train in 1945. In Switzerland, she danced with a ballet company in Bern.

Designed in 1947 by woman sculptor and illustrator Lore Friedrich Gronau, born in 1905. She worked on Rosenthal porcelaine manufactory in Selb as a freelancer from 1939 to 1961.

White porcelain  painted  golden by hand.
Green mark under glaze on the base: Rosenthal Selb Kunstabteilung, with small abbreviation of two letters in black - initials - signature of the painter.
Numbers impressed 1772 and 22 L F G (corresponds to the signature of the sculptor Lore Fridrich Gronau)
In perfect conditions.
