"Cary-gould Type Naturalist Microscope"
Cary-Gould type naturalist microscope. Around 1820. It disassembles completely to fit in its transport case. Once mounted, it is fixed by screws on the cover of the enclosure. The latter contains a screw-in eyepiece and two bone bars each carrying five transparent preparations. The box also contains a manipulation clamp for small objects as well as an adjustable mirror and a glass disc which fits into the ad hoc housing located on the microscope stage. This glass disc serves as a support to place the objects of study. Beautiful and complete original set.
