"Pair Of Napoleon III Bronze Candlesticks Decorated With Cloisonne Enamels"
These candlesticks have four candelabras each supporting a binet and a bobèche decorated with cloisonné enamels. The central shaft is frustoconical in shape and also enamelled, like the top one which is cylindrical in shape. The base is made up of four feet decorated with goat's heads resting on a white alabaster base (a slight glued crack) and finished with a mold and four gilt bronze feet. This pair of candlesticks have just been cleaned, everything is original. Note the quality of the gilding and the beauty of the cloisonné enamel work, a sign of the refinement of the luxury objects made at the end of the 19th century.
