A Louis XV style desk table in rosewood veneer and precious wood from the Napoleon III period. It opens with a frieze drawer. Its top is inlaid with cubes and finely inlaid with flowers and interlacing. The top tower is circled in bronze and spandrels decorate the corners. The belt is also decorated with bronze and 4 bearded masks. The four feet are clad in very finely chiseled bronze. The Maison Millet signature in Paris is inside the bronzes.
