Louis XV style Salon d'Apparat 19th century period in gilded and carved wood, comprising a banquette and four fauteuils à la Reine upholstered in Aubusson tapestry.
Carved with shells, scrolls, flowers and acanthus leaves, this superb five-piece salon is in perfect condition, the gilding is original and its patina is of the most beautiful effect.
The bench rests on six curved feet with scrolls and can accommodate three large seats.
The four armchairs with the Queen rest on four curved legs also finished by scrolls, their seat is wide and deep, offering a great comfort of sitting.
The tapestry on a beige background (champagne) represents a composition of flowered cup in a frame of plant garlands, rinçeaux and acanthus leaves.
The backs are upholstered in plain beige (champagne) very sober color, recalling the background of the tapestry flowered.
