"Painted Commode With Doors, 19th Century"
Large dresser with doors, originally painted, with flared sides. It opens on the front with four drawers, two of which are in the first row. They are embellished with arabesque painting in cartouches with fleur-de-lys corners. The handles are original in dappled glass. The strongly flared sides have a door painted with floral motifs and concealing a shelf. The amounts are in columns attached to the fonçures. The tray is also encircled by a corbin beak taken up by a painting motif. Probably Spanish origin.
