his chest of drawers with its neo-classical silhouette is remarkably elegant. It has a so-called "half-moon" body with a curved shape, slightly curved on the front and curved on the sides. It is embellished with chiseled and gilded bronzes, adorned with an openwork frieze with intertwined ivy leaves and vine branches, falls in acanthus and oak leaves, rais-de-coeur, ribbon pull rings, keyholes with fine flowers and leafy clogs. This chest of drawers with clean lines enhances the carefully selected precious wood species that we find in amaranth wood frames and satin wood curling. It rests on four tapered legs surmounted by fluted uprights.
On the front, it opens with three drawers, one of which is concealed in the belt. A magnificent Carrara marble with perfect dimensions and harmonious contours tops this exceptional chest of drawers with great sobriety.
It also bears an iron mark “FD” on the left rear crossmember. In perfect condition.
