Small Mirror In Golden Wood, Louis XVI Style - Early Twentieth

Small wall mirror in gilded and lacquered wood, Louis XVI style. Its mirror, rectangular and in perfect condition, is bordered by a frame with straight sides decorated with beaded and scalloped friezes. The upper corners are embellished with suspended tassels, those at the bottom with pinecones and more abstract shapes. A bird with outstretched wings, perched on a pedestal and crowned with a crown of laurels dominates this Mirror. On both sides, the pediment is richly ornamented with Scrolls in windings and other carved Decorations, always in Golden wood.
