Old anthropomorphic statuette with shiny patina

The statuette represents a standing female character, the feet symbolically represented in a trapezoidal volume. The tubular body has a small chest as well as a parallel row of scarifications, a swollen abdomen, decked out with a slightly protruding umbilicus. Arms bent, away from body, hands resting on hips. The face is characterized by two large round eyes surmounted by semicircular eyebrow arches, a flat nose overhanging an open mouth. The forehead and the temples barred with a deep scarification, the cheeks incised with a cross scarification. The large pierced ears, the hair encircled by a headband and brought back in small braids at the back of the skull.
