Important Tondo from the workshops of Della Robbia from the 18th century and inspired by their Renaissance works.
it is a large tondo 40 cm in diameter in high relief, representing a Virgin and Child with halos in white enamel set against a blue background and surrounded by a large frieze of very colorful foliage and fruit.
the whole is of very good quality even if there are some lacks of enamel on the frieze mainly.
a crack has been restored under the neck of the infant Jesus horizontally.
the colors remained very fresh.
