"Small Bench In Golden Wood And Caning, Louis XVI Style - 1900"
Small two-seater bench, Louis XVI style, with fully gilded wooden structure. It is equipped with two openwork and reversed armrests. The uprights, finished in windings, are scalloped. Decorations of half-flowers and Scrolls also adorn the arms of this Bench, trimmed in the middle with a Double Cannage: one tight, the other more airy. It is this second that we find on the Rectangular seat of this Seat. It should be noted that the latter is reinforced by a central cleat, and that it has benefited from a Traditional Squaring. The crosspieces are molded and embellished with sculpted friezes. The set rests on four tapered and fluted legs, topped with rosette-patterned connection dice. This Elegant Bench, designed with Finesse, is waiting for you for a moment of Relaxation alone, or Discussions for two. We will appreciate its design, a successful alliance of only Natural materials dressed in an Artificial Gilding. ******** Period: 1900 Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop.
