Large composition executed in gouache and watercolor around 1940-1950 by a painter inspired by the Fauvist style, in the spirit of Pierre Bonnard or Maurice Albert Loutreuil.
Represents a woman seated in a dining room in front of a well-furnished table with a bouquet of flowers, teapot or coffeepot, dishes, cups. around her the walls seem to be well lined with woodwork.
Comes from a regional estate and previously in a small manor in the Pontivy region, sold as is, foxing and small tears on the kerosene lamp globe, without glass or frame.
