"Pair Of Caned Armchairs In Solid Walnut, Regency Style - 1910/1920"
Pair of Regency style armchairs, in richly carved solid Walnut and generously sized. The files in Gendarmes Hats as well as the seats cut out on the front are dressed in Cannage in perfect condition. The armrests with recessed curved consoles are equipped with cuffs covered with a floral fabric with nail finishes. Each of these Armchairs rests on four arched legs finished with windings and connected to each other by an X-shaped spacer with a molded edge. We will appreciate the abundance of sculptures with perfect symmetry present on the entire structure of these Armchairs. Thus, Palmettes, Scrolls, Flowers, Shells or even Acanthus leaves come to embellish this Pair of Seats and give it this character specific to the Regency style. Note that these Armchairs are supplied with two removable cushions, with Piping finishes and covered with a fabric whose print is identical to that used for the Armchairs. ******** Period: Early 20th century, 1910/1920 Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop.
