"Four Salts In Sterling Silver, Auguste Dufour, Brussels Circa 1880-1900"
Lovely series of four salt cellars in solid silver and blue crystal in the Louis XVI style dating from the end of the nineteenth century. They come from the prestigious boutique, located Rue Royale in Brussels, of the famous jeweler and goldsmith Auguste Dufour, supplier to the Court and the Duke of Arenberg according to his advertising at the time. Rather heavy for their size, the four frames weigh 375 grams.
