"18th Century Parisian Wardrobe In Solid Oak, Ile De France Region, Regency."
Very beautiful Parisian wardrobe in solid oak from the beginning of the 18th century. It rests on two straight legs at the back and two rave legs at the front, the whole is surmounted by a large molding. It opens on the front with two leaves, each door is divided into three panels, the central panel forms a surface narrowed in the center and widened on the sides. The top of the doors is sculpted with a pretty decoration of lattices trimmed with quartefeuilles, typical of the Parisian style. Our cabinet has a very good quality molding. The sides are also divided into three raised panels, the upper port being arched. The interior is equipped with four sturdy shelves. The grooves were made of oak and have a remarkable thickness, we can see on the outer parts the traces left by the tools used at that time.
