Letter opener from the Art Deco period. Real silver sculpture, it depicts a woman and her child in a very tender attitude: the woman is represented standing, completely naked, she carries the little child on her shoulders, her arms raised in a graceful movement, their hands meet and faces are turned towards each other. The child wears cherub wings symbolizing the strong love that unites the mother and her child: a real little angel! The scene is framed with typically Art Deco decorative motifs.
