"Louis XV Walnut Wedding Cabinet"
Very beautiful wedding cabinet in walnut from the Louis XV period. The high crosspiece sports a large shell of achante and foliage that can also be found at the ends of this same crosspiece. It opens with two leaves richly carved with foliage and foliage in the upper part, the movements in the center are also carved with foliage, foliage and flowers. The frame in the center is carved very finely in three parts. The uprights are carved with shells and foliage ending on scroll feet topped with acanthus. The low crosspiece is scalloped decorated with foliage, foliage, flowers, and a very beautiful shell forming a heart with a small pomegranate in its center. The sides are molded panels. Original lock and ironwork. Very good quality armor. Provence 18th century (around 1750/1770). This cabinet was appraised (10,000 euros...) in 2017, Certificate delivered by hand to the purchaser.
