London, se, 1774; in-12, in frontispiece a portrait of the author, XXIV-490 + 471 pp., full speckled calf bindings of the time, spine decorated with 5 bands, edges painted in red, title parts in red morocco and volume number in green morocco, lack between the lower headdress and the first nerve, provide for restoration. The 2 volumes. Giovanni Boccacio was a 14th century Italian and Latin writer. He was Petrarch's friend and one of Dante's first divulgers and pedagogues. Good condition.
