Executed on bistre paper, a lovely gallant watercolor scene featuring a young couple in a bucolic setting in the style of the 18th century. The young people are seated and the young woman, her lamb on her knees, leans tenderly against her companion. Signed lower left. First half of the 20th century. It is dated "November 1926" in ink on the back. Very nicely highlighted by its original frame in stuccoed and gilded wood. Under glass also of origin deliciously corrugated and bubbled. The watercolor and its frame form a lovely set! Dimensions: 10 cm x 14.3 cm at sight 19 cm x 23 cm frame Very good condition. Never disassembled. A second pendant miniature is also on sale.
