Magnificent and rare bronze chandelier with the heads of chimeras, said to be in the form of an "oil lamp" with 6 arms of light.
Rare model in this invoice with bronzes with double brown and golden patina, with beautiful carvings. Several details underline the elegance of this chandelier: the ceiling light decorated with a finely chiselled crown of crosses from which emerge three chimera heads; the flame emerging from the center of the oil lamp; the generous crown of water leaves and acanthus leaves decorating the lower part of the chandelier, and finally, the pine cone closing the lower part.
Each of these details taken one by one reveals a very beautiful work from the cast iron to the chasing.
You can easily imagine this chandelier bringing a pleasant touch of refinement to your interiors.

The oil lamp is characteristic of the allegories of lighting under the Empire.
