Small silver tulip timpani, resting on a gadrooned pedestal, the body separated by a strong ring molded with threads, the edge engraved and underlined with threads, by the master goldsmith Pierre IX Hanappier, Orléans, 1762-1764 (letter D). Pierre IX Hanappier was born on June 21, 1706, he was received master goldsmith in Orleans in 1730, he died on November 30, 1777. He is the son of a goldsmith, Antoine VI Hanappier. Weight 77g. Condition, good, traces of use, the timpani is well hallmarked and of good quality.
