Superb and large pair of urn vases in marble and gilded bronze from the Napoleon III period. They rest on a square bronze base surmounted by a pedestal decorated with garlands and a finely chiseled openwork basket. The sea green marble is mounted on its upper part with a garland of flowers and handles in the shape of swans' heads. The whole is topped with an openwork lid finished with a pine cone-shaped grip . High quality French work where the carving is of great finesse and the gilding in perfect condition.
