Painting by Sylvain Vigny nó  on April 8, 1903 at;  Vienna in Austria, died on February 4, 1970 at;  Nice.  Vigny artist of the school of Paris 1st period, settles in Paris.  Nice in 1934, many beach scenes date from this period, sometimes with musicians, terraces, regattas, sometimes riders, circus characters.  A whole dreamlike universe, taking disturbing.  The artist had talent, and besides Oscar Guez owner   from the Petit Palais to;  Geneva, one of the main themes of which was French Painting in Geneva.  the dawn of the twentieth century had bought  the Vigny workshop, and exhibited his paintings alongside those of very great painters such as Utrillo, Vlaminck, Foujita, Picasso, and many others
