Exceptional Kashan rugs designed in silk, on silk foundations (velvet, warps, weft and fringes). Dating from the late 19th century. Is characterized by an ivory field sown with motifs of the symbol of genesis and fertility, the motif of the seed found in Cashmere shawls. Surrounded by gray and silver colored flowers. Consists of 7 borders, the main one in ruby color decorated with floral petals surrounded by garlands, foliage and palmettes with old gold and silver flowers. Density: between 10,000 to 11,000 knots per dm2. Observations: small natural oxidations noticed. Dimensions: Length: 203 cm Width: 139 cm
