"Ceremonial Armchair, Return From Egypt In Golden Wood."
Ceremonial armchair in richly carved and gilded wood, with slightly reversed backrest. Armrest supports in the shape of winged sphinxes, resting on two front sheath legs ending in claws and two rear saber legs. Rich decoration of palmettes, interlacing moldings and rosettes. XIXth century, Empire style.
