Ceramic vase in the shape of an amphora.
A belly decorated with rectangles formed by four diamonds, widening towards a broad shoulder composed of a succession of moldings. The same decor for the very high neck where the rim flares out on either side forming the dense hair of caryatids resembling sirens who make use of handles. Ceramic with shades of green and brown

It is easy to date this piece between 1936 and 1940 given the mark under the COPC vase
The mark under the vase: COPC: Coopérative Ouvrière de Production de Ceramic.
A cooperative founded and managed solely by workers. It has a very short existence between 1936 and 1940, which corresponds to a period of crisis in the production of Vallauris ceramics;
