"Pair Of Clamecy Earthenware Vases"
Pair of 18th century fire pot vases in earthenware from Clamecy (Nièvre). The floral decoration on a yellow background is clearly inspired by earthenware from Montpellier or Marseille. These two objects bear the signature of Roger Colas, earthenware maker who practiced in Clamecy from 1937. The decoration on these pieces was put in place in the post-war years. Vases presented for sale in excellent condition.
