"Small Inlaid Folding Table, Napoleon III Period - Nineteenth"
Small side table, folding, with rectangular top with projecting corners. Its center features an Arabesque of Scrolls and foliage in Marquetry, at the heart of which sits a Vase with handles. This fresco is made up of inlays of light wood and mahogany, on a blackened wooden background. The whole is highlighted by a frame with Tab cuts in Veneer of Veneer of Thuya. The perimeter of this tray is molded in 'Bec de Corbin' with Gorge. This Flying Table rests on two pairs of turned and molded legs, crossed in an X, joined by a spacer bar. This Varnished Black wooden base has the particularity of being retractable, making this Table folding with ease. We will obviously appreciate the Practicality of this Modular Table, which does not detract from its refinement, which it owes in particular to its pretty Marquetry Decor made with finesse. ******** Period: 19th century Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop.
