Engraved by Francesco Morelli, known as François Morel (1768-1832). Born in Franche-Comté, French chisel engraver, he worked in Italy, especially in Rome, engraving religious subjects and landscapes, after Cl. Lorrain, Carracci, P. Hackert. A very close view was also engraved by Giovanni Battista Piranèsi (1720-1778), from whom Morelli might have drawn inspiration.
