"Norman Fire Stone XVIIIth Century"
Rare double fire stone: a round side and the other square side with holes for the draw, placed in the fireplace where the embers were put in bowls and allowed to maintain the food. Missing the iron gates. A small crack and a chip. Typical Lower Norman work, it dates from the beginning of the 18th century. Note that despite its flaws it remains a representative piece of Norman folk art. For further information, please contact us. Delivery or shipment on estimate.
