Jean Charles ELLAUME:
Received Master on November 6, 1754,
he opened his workshop rue Traversière where, for 30 years, he produced quality furniture, in particular chests of drawers and flat desks, mostly in the Louis XV style, all in rosewood or violet wood veneer framed in rosewood or amaranth.
The bronze ornamentations are elegant and chiseled with finesse. ELLAUME was considered, in his time, as an excellent cabinetmaker.
