Beautiful mahogany veneered dressing table

Interesting dressing table with two flaps, a mirror, a pull and two drawers. It stands on tapered legs with bronze sabots. The mirror is mounted on a gutter. The mahogany is moulded on all four sides.
This dressing table is stamped twice with R. LACROIX, one of the two used by Roger Vandercruse dit Lacroix (1728 - 1799) on the lower edge of the belt.
Roger Vandercruse dit Lacroix (1728 - 1799)
A brilliant craftsman, he worked alongside the Migeons, Oebens and Riesener. This proximity allowed him to receive brilliant orders. His talent brought him fame and serious clients, including the Countess of Provence, Madame Victoire and the Duke of Orleans.
Condition report: this piece of furniture is in home condition, it presents old reinforcements and accidents. The mahogany is discoloured by the sun.
